Jace Alexander to Direct 2-hour Pilot for Sci Fi Channel

Remember the charming petty-thief that made Alicia Silverstone lay down on the ground ruining her sexy, red, important dress in the movie Clueless? Well, that thief has become quite a notable force in the industry directing more than 30 episodes of Law and Order and almost 20 episodes of Rescue Me. Why should FM care? Because Jace Alexander’s current project is none other than the 2-hour Sci Fi Channel pilot for the newly picked up series Warehouse 13.

Created by Battlestar Galactica co-exec producer Jane Epenson, Farscape mastermind Rockne O’Bannon and D. Brent Mote 13 is looking to be a mix of X-Files meets Raiders of the Lost Ark meets The Crush (not really, but Alicia Silverstone is hot and I’d let her unleash a hive of bees to take care of my girlfriend any day). 13 is slated to premier in Summer 2008. Let’s hope it’s as good as it sounds.
