THE WALKING DEAD will invade AMC again this Sunday, February 12, and in the meantime the network has been kind enough to give fans a fun way to stay in the walker mindset. THE WALKING DEAD: DEAD RECKONING is an interactive online adventure game that takes players deeper into the series with fresh art and gory gameplay.

“When Rick wakes from a coma, he finds his wife Lori and his partner Shane gone and the police station abandoned. (Sure, former deputy Leon Bassett is still around but he’s a walker.) ABC took audiences to THE RIVER on February 7th, with the premiere episode of the new series from PARANORMAL ACTIVITY director Oren Peli. The show stars Lili Bordan, Paul Edney, Mike Gassaway, Don McManus, Ryan O’Quinn, and Walter Perez. Let Peli get you familiar with the show as you prepare for week two of the mysterious water ride.

“THE RIVER follows the story of wildlife expert and TV personality Emmet Cole. Emmet set course around the world with his wife, Tess, and son, Lincoln, while filming what would become one of the most popular shows in television. Famed explorer Dr. Emmet Cole (Bruce Greenwood) went looking for magic deep in the uncharted Amazon and never returned. NBC’s GRIMM returns tomorrow with more gruesome goodies for television audiences, and we have a preview clip hinting at the kinds of discoveries will be found as the hit show moves forward. GRIMM stars David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weid Mitchell, and Sasha Roiz.

Famous Monsters’ own Lianne Spiderbaby is back with the latest episode of her FRIGHT BYTES web show, this time focusing on the eerie world of film noir. Take a look!

“In this episode of FRIGHT BYTES, your hosts Lianne Spiderbaby and her brother Steve Mac discuss film noir and it’s influence on the horror genre and modern movie making. Film Noir is perhaps Hollywood’s most organic artistic movements. Beginning in the early 1940s, countless screenplays inspired by hardboiled American crime fiction were turned into moving pictures, primarily by emerging European directors who shared a certain storytelling sensibility: highly stylized, overtly theatrical, with imagery often drawn from an earlier era of German Expressionist cinema.
