Honest Abe has been a busy man as of late, what with fighting back bloodsuckers in ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, and now in the Asylum’s obligatory knock-off, ABRAHAM LINCOLN VS. ZOMBIES. The Asylym has to have the fastest turnaround time in cinema right now, because their takes on major titles arrive with lightning speed, always landing on rental shelves just before their (unknowing) major release counterparts hit big screens. A quick look at their catalog reveals groan inducing almost-hits like SNAKES ON A TRAIN, TRANSMORPHERS, 2012 DOOMSDAY, WAR OF THE WORLDS 2: THE NEXT WAVE, DEATH RACERS, TITANIC 2, and THE AMITYVILLE HAUNTING. Now we can add a scythe wielding Lincoln to the list.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN VS. ZOMBIES stars Don McGraw, Baby Norman, Canon Kuipers, and Bill Oberst Jr. as Lincoln. The movie hits the home market on May 22, exactly one month before ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER sees theaters on June 22.
