You’re absolutely right. Burton is totally going to make a movie based on a cheesy 70′s paranormal soap-opera “suck”.
I think it’s the only hope this treatment has that it will be worth anything.
The look reminds me of Nosferatu. I think it looks cool. Right now any vampire movie will be compared to Twilight.

Burton can be a genius when he wants to be. Depps love for the original will surely, I would think, make it keep some kind of true and homageable course.
