Liv (THE STRANGERS) Tyler has joined the cast of Ti West’s upcoming sci-fi trip THE SIDE EFFECTS, according to Empire. Tyler is set to play Catherine Rigby, a volunteer who agrees to be part of an experiment putting her alone in space for an extended period of time. She finds herself mysteriously pregnant one day, and struggles to find out the truth as her paranoia grows.
In a press statement, Tyler shares her enthusiasm for West, referring to him as, “a super-talented exciting young filmmaker.” Regarding the role, she relates, “The role of Rigby is a fantastic character within a great thriller and I am looking forward to sinking my teeth into the part.”
