Tim Burton’s feature length re-telling of his short form FRANKENWEENIE has fans scratching at the door in anticipation, so allow us to throw you a bone. A still and title card teaser image have shown up, this time around showing Victor and Sparky in the lab.
The film is a reunion of sorts, with Burton bringing the vocal talents of Winona (BEETLEJUICE, EDWARD SCISSORHANDS) Ryder, Catherine (BEETLEJUICE) O’Hara, Martin (ED WOOD) Landau, Martin (MARS ATTACKS) Short, and Conchata (EDWARD SCISSORHANDS) Ferrell on board, not to mention the lavish music of constant collaborator Danny Elfman.

“From creative genius Tim Burton comes FRANKENWEENIE, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog, Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life – with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sharky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers, and the entire town all learn that getting a new ‘leash on life’ can be monstrous.”
