Last night IGN shared a video interview with STAR WARS producer Rick McCallum, where he discusses the WARS television series to be, sharing several interesting tidbits. First of all, the story: it that takes place between III and IV. Its working title: STAR WARS: UNDERWORLD. He explains that part of the reason the show hasn’t gotten off the ground yet is the cost of creating a full STAR WARS experience week after week, big screen effects and all. However, he says the WARS prequels, “only cost $100 million each, which in Hollywood is nothing,” so he thinks they can do it without overspending. “It has never been about making a shitload of money, it has been about breaking even.” Mmmmhmmm.
