Despite audience disgust and critical flaming, William Brent Bell, director of last weekend’s big deal THE DEVIL INSIDE and one-time adult film production coordinator, has landed a deal to helm THE VATICAN for Warner Brothers. Deadline Hollywood is reporting the deal was in the works before the holidays, but was fast tracked once the Warner money men saw THE DEVIL INSIDE’s $34mil opening take. THE VATICAN is reportedly a conspiracy theory tale, scripted by David (SUSPECT ZERO) Cohen.
