One-Shot “SILENT HOUSE” Creeps in New Trailer

Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, the team behind 2003′s OPEN WATER, have joined forces once again, sharing directorial duties on the new cerebral haunt SILENT HOUSE. The film stars Elizabeeth Olsen, younger sister to Mary-Kate and Ashley, Adam (ZODIAC) Trese, and Eric Sheffer (JULIE AND JULIA) Stevens. SILENT HOUSE is unique in that Kentis and Lau shot the film in one continuous take, with the action playing out in real time. Kentis and Lau’s picture is a remake of Gustavo Hernández’s 2010 Uruguay-lensed film of the same name.

“SILENT HOUSE is a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house.”

Look for SILENT HOUSE in US theaters on March 9.
