Everybody’s favorite self-professed B-movie actor is sharing his thoughts, and when Bruce Freaking Campbell shares his thoughts, the world listens.
In an interview with TV Guide designed ostensibly to talk about the actor’s USA drama BURN NOTICE, the interviewer segues wonderfully into asking Campbell about what he gets recognized more fo: Sam Axe or the chainsaw-armed Ash. This naturally transitions into an enlightening discussion on the future of the EVIL DEAD franchise; specifically, his thoughts on and involvement in the upcoming remake.
Campbell is rather forthcoming about the film, and confirms that there will be no Ash in the EVIL DEAD redux. He says this was to avoid any comparisons between the two. Campbell is more cagey about the possibility of a cameo, jokingly saying maybe he’ll pop up as an old farmer.
