Landis’ status as both a monster movie connoisseur and as a prolific director (AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON and Michael Jackson’s THRILLER) gives him the unique ability to draw on his industry background to provide knowledgable and opinionated insight into each of the films contained in the books. But this is not to say he doesn’t have fun with it.
