This Man Gets A Director

This guy is going to direct This Man. According to Variety, Bryan Bertino (probably best known for his directorial debut The Strangers) will be helming a brand-new horror film called (drum roll, please) This Man.

Bertino, who wrote the screenplay, will also serve as a producer alongside Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Adrienne Biddle.

From Variety: “Based on real-life accounts, This Man follows an ordinary man who discovers that people he has never met are seeing him in their dreams. He endeavors to find out why he is the source of nightmares for strangers all over the world.

Check out the Ghost House website here, to read an article that adds to the creepiness factor behind the premise. According to the article, it was created by an Italian sociologist in order to bring together people who have dreamed of the unknown man.

Personally, I’ve never seen the man depicted on the website in my dreams, but I have had a reoccurring dream about Elmo from Sesame Street eating a car.

So, you know, there’s that.
