Those who attended Capcom’s annual media event Captivate got a first hand look at a trailer for the much anticipated zombie killer Dead Rising 2. If you missed out, don’t sweat it, because we have the trailer waiting for you below in its entirety.

Dead Rising 2′s story takes place a few years after 2006′s Dead Rising, placing gamers in the middle of a zombie pandemic that originated in Santa Cabeza but has now spread all over the United States. This time around, you’re Chuck Greene, a former national motocross champion who must survive the zombie horde and mix of psychopaths. As seen in the trailer, among the survivors is Chuck’s own daughter, which serves as his primary motivation for staying alive.
It was also announced that the game will feature a two-player co-op mode throughout the story. Awesome. People are finally catching on that zombie killing is even better with a buddy! Look for this one in stores on August 31st.
