If you missed Juno writer Diablo Cody’s teen comedy/gruesome horror flick Jennifer’s Body, fear not: the DVD’s coming before the year’s out!
Oddly enough, Jennifer hits shelves on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 29, just a little too late for Christmas… but if New Year’s presents are your thing, here’s one! The home version features an unrated, extended cut that’s been dubbed “too sexy and gruesome” for theaters… though if I had to guess, I’d say you’re still not gonna see Megan Fox in evil nude glory.
For those who don’t know, Jennifer’s Body stars Fox as a sexy, high school-ruling cheerleader who gets possessed by a demon – and starts eating the school’s male population alive. Eventually, it’s up to her best friend (Mamma Mia and Mean Girls‘ Amanda Seyfried) to stop her and save the day. In addition to the unrated cut, the DVD/Blu-Ray includes writer and director commentary tracks, deleted scenes, outtakes, and video diaries, as well as a funny little PSA starring Megan Fox.
