LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, 1962, Sony Repertory, 216 min. Ok, so why are we giving tickets away to the epic tale of T.E. Lawrence? Easy. Because part of what we do here at FM is preserve the past. While this film may not feature supernatural characters with strange abilities, it is an all-time classic that begs to be seen on the big screen. One of the the most beautiful and epic films ever put to celluloid, David Lean’s tale of one man who changed the course of an entire war was an absolutely monster undertaking (see what I did there). Aside from being a fantastic film it is also a technological masterpiece that everyone should see once.
