Mother’s Day, the Darren Lynn Bousman movie loosely based on the 1980 cult classic, has at long last launched its official website.
The film, coming to theaters on Mother’s Day 2010, follows a family of criminals return to their childhood home after a robbery gone wrong, only to find the new residents in the midst of a birthday party. The criminals, led by their sadistic Mother, take the new residents hostage and, in one terrifying evening, lines are drawn, secrets are revealed, and sides are taken as the hostages struggle to stay alive.
