Drag Me To DVD

Drag Me to Hell, Sam Raimi’s 2009 horror film, has found its way to DVD.  The movie, which was super hyped but not incredibly well received, stars Alison Lohman and Justin Long as a couple who must deal with a curse that an old woman placed on Christine (Lohman).  It turns out that Christine is being haunted and tortured by a powerful demon who will continue tormenting her for three days before finally dragging her to hell. Okay, so sounds like a pretty standard demon-filled horror movie so far, but what happens next? Sorry, no spoilers here… you’ll have to go buy the DVD to find out how it ends!

Also new on DVD is the hit comedy The Proposal, starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock.  The romantic comedy follows the antics of a executive editor (Bullock) who forces her assistant (Reynolds) to marry her in order for her to stay in the country. They must meet the family and whip up a wedding ceremony and somewhere in there they actually fall in love. It is supposedly pretty funny so if you are into that kind of thing, now you can go out and buy the DVD!
