/Gamer announces that Brash Entertainment is still moving forward with their plans to launch a Saw video game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. The video game release will coincide with Saw VI’s theatrical release—roughly next October. The game’s storyline will take place between the original Saw and Saw II and the developers are currently working with the original creators of the movie franchise in order to have the game closely tied to the films. The teaser poster for the game is supplied by Bloody Disgusting.
Bloody Disgusting reports that Saw franchise cinematographer David A. Armstrong will be testing his turn behind the camera as director for a new thriller titled Details. The film chronicles the events of a “troubled, small town police chief [who] hunts for a serial killer with the help of a psychic while trying to avoid coming under suspicion himself.” Filming will commence in the new year in Louisiana.
