Family Guy Produces Last Blood

Family Guy showrunner/executive producer David A. Goodman was given the assignment of turning Last Blood from comic book into film according to The Hollywood Reporter. The comic book from Blatant Comics was optioned by Benderspink Productions back in April.
The comic book, written by Bobby Crosby and Chris Crosby and illustrated by Owen Gieni, debuted as part of 2007’s Free Comic Book Day and ran for two issues, completing its run last December. A second miniseries launched online at their website.
According to the company website, “After zombies take over the Earth, vampires must protect the last surviving humans so they can live off their blood.”
The Crosby’s launched Blatant in 1997, mostly doing satire comics until venturing into horror with Last Blood.
