Alice Cast from Down Under

Director Tim Burton seems prepared to send Australian actress Mia  (In Treatment) through the looking glass in his interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.  The script is from Linda Woolverton (The Lion King) with production slated to begin in November.

The Disney production will be a blend of live-action and performance-capture footage to be presented in Disney Digital 3-D. Additional casting and a release date remain to be announced.
