Creepy Casting

Josh Davidson (Deadlands: The Rising), Trey Farley (Bend it Like Beckham), Katherine Pawlak (Lonelygirl15), and Heather Tocquigny (Frankenstien Rising) have been cast by Craig Singer (Dark Ride) for his After Dark Films’ production, Perkins’ 14. The movie was cast via a call at Massify and will be part of this year’s crop of 8 Films to Die For. The 14 are people kidnapped by a psychotic and he’ll attempt to control their minds so they will want to protect him from the killers he’s convinced are after him.

There’s a new player in town as Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson joins the cast of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Her character, Catherine Weaver, is the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company that comes into the team’s sights. The Fox series will begin its second season in September with Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker and Summer Glau all returning. The Scottish singer has been part of the Madison, WI band since its debut in 1995 and may be best known for the hit “Only Happy When It Rains”.

Meantime, Fox also announced yesterday that  James D’Arcy (Churchill at War) will be the lead astronaut in Ronald D. Moore’s new series Virtuality. His character will be the Phaeton’s psych officer and the host of the reality series beamed back to Earth.
