Paranormal Moves in at AMC

The paranormal is a popular topic in fiction these days so its little wonder one network after another is exploring the subject.  AMC, which has increased its original programming, has picked up Darren Aronofsky’s (The Fountain) Riverview Towers, a series that follows a family that moves into a new apartment.  The pilot script is being handled by John J. McLaughlin (Black Swan) with Aronofsky executive producing with partners Eric Watson and Jed Weintrob.  Should AMC buy the script, Pat Jenkins (Monster) is set to direct.  The project started as a pitch to HBO two years back but didn’t catch on.
