Ashley LaurenceOur pals at Fangoria attempted a comic book line last year and then bad things happened and the books vanished. Robert Kurtzman’s Bump, though, has survived and is coming to the screen via Scream Factory. Hellraiser veteran Ashley Laurence has been announced as Elaine, the star, alongside Tobin Bell (Saw).

The four issue miniseries was written by Kurtzman with art by Mark Kidwell (Image Comics ‘68) and colorist Jay Fotos (Frank Frazetta’s Death Dealer). Kidwell described Bump as “part ghost story, [part] survival horror, and [part] full-blown monster movie,” Bump is a supernatural tale of extreme horror, where even the confines of the grave aren’t able to contain the brutal spirit of serial killer Edgar Dill, and his legion of monstrous Treehuggers.”
